Planning a strong arts-integrated or stand-alone arts unit begins with State or National Learning Standards. The intention of the Standards is to make connections in and among the various content areas. Here, we have compiled the new Common Core Standards and the Illinois State Learning Standards, as well as the National Fine Arts Standards, for easy navigation and cross-referencing. As the Common Core Standards are adopted, Every Art, Every Child will update and modify this Learning Standards page to help teachers understand these new expectations and adaptations.
